The 8th Tourism Collegiate Conference of Central Luzon, hosted by Jocson College Inc. and co-presented by OMNI Aviation, successfully took place on May 9, 2025, at Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.
With the theme “The Future of Flight: Envisioning the Next Generation of Air Travel and its Impact on Tourism,” this year’s program focused on the role of air transportation and air travel services in the future of the tourism industry. The conference brought together tourism students, educators, and professionals for a day of insight, inspiration, and discussions.

The ceremony officially opened with welcome remarks from Dr. Rosan Olalia, Jocson College’s Director for Academic Affairs, and Ms. Lilibeth Ramos-Mangulabnan, OMNI’s Ground Service Training Group Head.
Dr. Richard Daenos, Regional Director of the Department of Tourism–Region 3, graced the occasion and delivered an inspiring message, emphasizing how air travel continues to evolve and transform the landscape of tourism.

The event featured seasoned industry professionals. Mr. Jeffrey Espiritu, General Manager for Asia Pacific, Daher Industrial Services, offered insight into global career pathways in aviation and an overview of airline operations. Ms. Rachel C. Teodoro, Manager of Amadeus Training Services for Southeast Asia and Greater China, gave a comprehensive discussion on Amadeus and Global Distribution Systems (GDS).

Ms. Erika Marie Virtudazo, former trainer at PAGSS and former cabin crew member of Qatar Airways and Air Niugini, inspired students with her own journey and successful OMNI graduates, while Mr. Joselito Las, Cabin Crew Excellence Manager, spoke about practical tips on how to ace flight attendant interviews.
After the presentations, participants had the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers during an open forum. The question & answer session allowed for deeper discussion, with students seeking guidance on career paths, industry expectations, and tips on standing out in a competitive field.

The 8th Tourism Collegiate Conference, attended by various academic institutions across Central Luzon, proved to be a celebration of collaboration, innovation, and the shared vision of empowering the next generation of aviation and tourism professionals.
