Brigadier General Rolando S. Acop AFP, Commander of the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), actualized the department’s vision of reinforcing relations with their affiliates through his courtesy visit to OMNI Aviation Corporation, held July 12, 2019. BGen Rolando S. Acop was welcomed into the OMNI Aviation Complex by OMNI’s very own military reservists, with Master Sergeant Steven Cesar G. Virata (OMNI Aviation, President and COO) at the helm.

BGen Rolando S. Acop AFP gave an inspiring keynote speech about service to the country and the mutual benefits of the linkage between OMNI Aviation and AFRC. He also spoke regarding their continuing initiatives of turning departmental focus from recruiting more affiliates to strengthening existing connections by “touching bases” with already-affiliated organizations.

Aside from giving the keynote speech and answering queries during the forum, BGen Rolando S. Acop AFP also conducted facility inspection of OMNI Aviation’s training areas, particularly the CAAP-approved Skill Test Area, the jump and slide drill conducted by cabin crew training school students, and the Simulator Room.

The courtesy visits reaffirmed OMNI Aviation’s commitment to its Corporate Social Responsibility of servicing the Motherland, most especially during its times of need. OMNI Aviation was officially approved as a Philippine Air Force Affiliated Unit (PAFARU), with specific designation as the 2022nd Philippine Air Force Flying School Reserve, on August 2015.
